Fixing the Gaps in Your Smile
If you’re missing one or more adjacent teeth, Dr. Tarabin has an easy and cost-effective solution – a dental bridge. Dental bridges are durable, non-removable appliances that are great for restoring the spaces in your smile left by missing teeth.
A bridge consists of one or more replacement teeth called pontics which are held in place using dental crowns at each end of the bridge. Our bridges are made from strong porcelain to ensure a natural appearance and long-lasting results. We also feature bridges that are held in place using dental implants.
The Dental Bridge Process
A dental bridge can usually be placed in just two appointments. Two of your natural teeth will be used to anchor the bridge. During your first visit, we’ll prepare these teeth for dental crowns. This process involves numbing and restructuring them so your crowns fit snugly.
Next, we’ll take an impression of your smile and send it to a dental laboratory where they’ll use this information to create your bridge. For your convenience, we’ll provide a temporary bridge for you to wear while you’re waiting for your new one.
When your new bridge is ready, you’ll return to our office so Dr. Tarabin can attach it. This natural-looking restoration blends in beautifully with your smile, making it almost completely unnoticeable.
